Whoa, it’s been a longish time since the last update, hasn’t it.
The past year has been reasonably quiet, not a lot has been going on.
I’ve mostly been working at the post offices, slacking on my studies, planning for my impending wedding, and obviously, gaming. I did pick up running during the summer, and while that slowed down during the winter due to a lack of proper gear, the weather is turning over to the comfortable. I hope I can manage to run at least ten kilometers per week. I’ll also try to cycle mostly everywhere.
On the gaming front, the autumn and winter were spent mostly playing Battlefield 3 and Star Wars: The Old Republic. The interest in BF3 in my group of friends has waned at this point, and Star Wars, while having an excellent leveling experience and storytelling, has an end game that feels hollow and I struggle to find much to do in it. At the moment, I’m excited for the coming Guild Wars 2 beta weekend.
I’m also looking forward to summer, because I’m getting to have a proper summer vacation. Sure, the soon-to-be wifey will spend most of June in Jordan studying Arabic, but that just means I will PLAY ALL THE GAMES – most likely a whole lot of Diablo 3.
